Omkar Sathe is a seasoned technocrat, with over 25 years of experience in the software industry. He started his career as a programmer with Software Moguls in 1998, where he worked on implementing IMAP and POP3 protocols. In 2000, he joined IBM India Software Lab (ISL) and worked on Distributed File Systems. He later joined Persistent Systems, where he grew from being a programmer to project manager to program manager to practice manager, overseeing large teams and managing P&Ls. Driven by a desire to make a difference, Omkar joined Allforasmile, an NGO focused on menstrual health, in late 2018, where he spearheaded its efforts. He co-founded Televed, a Health Tech startup, in June 2020, where he is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO. Televed is a multitenant SaaS platform providing white-labelled solutions for Doctors and Hospitals to launch their own Telemedicine solution. As the General Manager at Tech Prescient, Omkar is responsible for all aspects of operations and delivery. Tech Prescient is a software product development services company that partners with its customers at all stages, including ideation, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Omkar is a humanist and environmentalist by choice, and he loves to take on complex situations and challenges. He is attracted to the unknown and enjoys the journey that starts with rational thoughts and often ends with surprisingly astonishing things beyond rational. Omkar holds an MSc in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Holkar Science College Indore. He also has a background in Model School Bhopal and Saraswati Shishu Mandir Bhopal. Omkar's technical expertise includes Senior Software Engineering and testing.
